San Francisco, CA- The Urban Knights' tennis match against Dixie State that was originally scheduled for tonight, has been moved to Friday morning. In order to better accommodate the student athletes and their class schedule, the coaches agreed to move the game to the end of the week. Brisbane, CA- The Academy of Art University softball team played the last two games of their home stand on Sunday afternoon. Swapping the order of games from yesterday, the Knights re-matched Oregon Tech in game one, followed by Patten University in the night cap. In their first game, AAU played well, but errors proved costly and they ended up losing 6-5. The Knights faced Patten University in the first game of the tournament, followed by Oregon Tech in a later game. In game one, the Urban Knights took a commanding lead over the Lions and won with a score of 9-0 in five innings. Urban Knight fans honored seniors Caprice Hall, Brittany Kikuchi, and Sondra Stilwell in a warm fashion before their final game of season. The energy from the crowd propelled AAU over the Seasiders rather convincingly, as the Urban Knights never trailed during the contest. Every Urban Knight scored in the game and four players registered points in double figures, with Lorraine Etchell leading the way with a game high 17 points.
