Turlock, CA -- The Academy of Art University baseball team wrapped up its weekend series with Cal State Stanislaus by dropping a 17-2 decision in game one and falling 10-0 in game two of a Sunday doubleheader at Warrior Baseball Field. With the conclusion of the series, the Urban Knights fall to 0-3 on the season and the Warriors improve to 3-1.

Turlock, CA -- Inclement weather allowed just one game of the Saturday baseball doubleheader between Academy of Art and Cal State Stanislaus to be played and the Warriors came away with a 24-1 victory. It was the season-opener for both teams at Warrior Baseball Field and AAU now stands at 0-1 on the season while CSUS improves to 1-1. Junior infielder Ryan Worley, who went 1-for-4 on the day, batted in the Knights’ lone run in the contest with a RBI double in the seventh inning.

Honolulu, HI – The Urban Knights took on the Lady Swords of Chaminade University and emerged victorious by a score of 77 to 67. Despite being down six at halftime the Urban Knights were able to come from behind to take the game, thanks to a 21 point performance by senior Sondra Stilwell. The Urban Knights also had help from three other players who managed double figures in scoring. This marks the second straight game and third overall in which AAU has had four player finish with double figures in scoring. The win bumps the Urban Knights to 7-13 overall and 3-6 in conference, while the loss drops the Silversords to 1-13 overall and still winless in conference.
